weekend recap

How is it already Monday?? The weekend seemed to just fly by around here!
Friday night was date night for us! We didn't really have any big plans for that night. Since it was SO nice outside, we decided to go running at Lake Fayetteville and then to eat Mexican food after we ran. It was a fun, relaxing night!

Saturday, we ran to Lowe's to grab some things to work in the yard.

Pruning, digging, planting, and mulching was how we spent the day. These two were big helpers! ;) And I always forget how many muscles I use when I do yard work. I was sore on Sunday morning!

We found a headboard for Jillian's bed on Saturday. We transitioned her from a toddler bed in January and I've needed to add a headboard to her bed, but I just had not found one I loved until this weekend. This is a perfect fit for her girly room!

She loves it! ;)

Sunday, we went to church. Brody loves when we get to ride the golf cart to the car!

Jillian and I played "salon" on Sunday afternoon. I will let you guess who the stylist was...

She also played dress-up, which included prancing around the house in my leopard booties!

Last night, I planned to make banana pancakes for dinner since we had some very ripe bananas. Brody asked if we could add in chocolate chips to the batter, so we had banana chocolate chips pancakes. We topped them with lots of extra toppings to make them extra good. They we delicious and honestly tasted like we had dessert for supper!
