Console table – If space is tight around your bed, this console table mounts to the wall and has a very small footprint.
Swing chair – Our Texas heat is keeping my hammock napping dreams from coming true, but an indoor swing chair is the next best thing and can be enjoyed year round.
Pillow – I love the way a tapestry hung behind the bed is a makeshift headboard in the inspiration photo. A tapestry or oversized throw pillows can be space-saving stand ins when you don’t have room for a headboard.
Rug – Even if you have a carpet in your bedroom, layering another rug next to the bed can add warmth and a soft place to land when you get out of bed in the morning.
Print - If you’re just starting out your art collection, a simple line drawing like this can be easily to mixed and matched with other prints and photographs.
Wall lamp – If you have a small bedside table, you may not want to take up valuable real estate with a lamp. This one doesn’t need to be hardwired so you can avoid the added cost of calling an electrician.
Journal & notebook – When my mind won’t settle as I’m trying to fall asleep, sometimes it’s handy to have a notebook nearby to jot down a quick to do list for the next day.
Bowl - Rather than keeping my best bowls hidden in the kitchen cabinet, I like to use them to hold jewelry next to a sink, couch or bed (so as not to lose any tiny earrings). And little handmade pieces like this make the best souvenirs and gifts to bring home from your travels!
