Telemundo Family Friendly Summer Outings Segment: Striped Skater Dress + Floral Print Heels

On Wednesday May 21st I had the pleasure of going to Telemundo NY's Noticiero Primera Edicion to go over some family and budget friendly places to visit in and around the city. Among them, Caffee Bene as super cool café that offers a unique menu featuring items like bubble tea, parfait, gelato, salads, coffee and more all fresh and delicious! Other places included the children's museum in both Manhattan and NJ as well as Luna Park in Coney Island and Funplex in NJ.

About my outfit; my mom (the original Chica Fashion) bought this dress for me a few months back, I thought it would look good on T.V so I went for it. To give it my personalized styling touches I added my new leopard print belt, which was only $6 bucks at the Sears Outlet and wore my favorite floral print pumps.

I attempted a Bantu knot out on an old blow out but it was a mini fail. I am not sure if it was the product or that my hair may have been flat ironed too straight. I have not clue but I am one more try from giving up on Bantu knots, the ends never look right either.

El miercoles 21 de Mayo tuve el placer de estar en Telemundo NY's Noticiero Primera Edicion en un segment de actividades familiares a bajo costo en y lrededor de la cuidad. Entre ellas, Caffe Bene una cafetería super cool que ofrece un menú único con platos como el té de burbuja, parfait, helados, ensaladas, café y más! Todo fresco y delicioso! Otros lugares incluyen el museo de los niños en Manhattan y Nueva Jersey, así como Luna Park en Coney Island y Funplex en NJ.

Sobre mi atuendo; mi mamá (la Chica Fashion original) me compró este vestido hace unos meses atras, pensé que se vería bien en la televisión, así que me lo puse. Para darle mis toques de estilo personalizadas añadí mi nuevo cinturón de estampado de leopardo, que costo sólo $ 6 dólares en el Outlet Sears y me puse mis zapatos de estampado de flores favoritas.

Intenté un "Bantu knot out" ya que el cabello estaba lacio y listo para lavar pero fue un mini falle. No estoy segura si fue el producto o que el cabello estaba planchada muy lacio y demasiado recto. Yo no tengo ni idea, pero un intento mas y me dare por vencida, las puntas tampoco nunca se ven bien. Adios nudos bantúes.
