Cosmo For Latinas annual Fun Fearless Awards

On Wednesday, June 4th I had the pleasure of attending the 2nd annual Cosmo for Latinas Magazine's Fun Fearless Awards on behalf of P&G Easy, Breezy Beautiful Covergirl. Honoring: Demi Lovato, Thalia, Perez Hilton, Rosario Dawson, among others with acoustic performance by COVERGIRL Becky G!
The star studded event which had in attendance actresses from Orange is the New Black, included a special presentation of COVERGIRL’s #GirlsCan viral video & Katy Perry’s new COVERGIRL #instaGLAM makeup collection. As well as a red carpet, cocktail hour and sit down dinner.
I truly enjoyed my night and no not because of the free wine or celebrities but because of all of the honorees, their courage, movements and speeches. So often we get caught up in our own little word, our own bubble that we forget that outside of our day to day lives, outside of our friends and family there is a whole world in need. In need of help, love, legal counsel, representation, structure, stability and simply just a hand. The ladies that were honored were all so passionate not just about being Latinas but about their organizations, causes and need to assist others.

The whole event was very emotional and eye opening. I not only had the opportunity about these ladies stories but about how they have and will continue to persevere, fight and move forward in life. It gave me hope, courage and fueled my fire to continue to work towards my goal and encourage others.
