When swimsuitsdriect.com reached out to me for a Swim Talk interview I was pretty excited and happy to share some swim suit convo. They also asked if I would like to review one of their women's bathing suits, I was a tad hesitant at first because I am seriously conscious of these last 15lbs of pregnancy weight I am carrying around. Let's not even mention stretch marks, dark spots, bikini irritation or the fact that nursing my son everyday (still) has one boob larger than the other; TMI? Hope not I wouldn't want to be the only women in the world with these complejos (self consciousness)

But you know what, I LOVE ME, ALL OF ME. And as cliche and corny as it sounds I brought two babies in to this world, beautiful smart healthy babies if I do say so myself. Ok so I am not that mom who is plastered on Facebook with her 3 boys and rock hard washboard Abs talking about "if I can do it what is your excuse" but I have made great progress for my own personal fitness goal and I know that eventually I will reach my ultimate goal.

Here is the thing "comparison is the thief of joy" we all have our flaws and issues that we are self conscious about but what I have found is, that if you play them down people will too, I think most people don't even notice really. We are always our own worst critics and this summer I vowed not to care, not to worry and to simply enjoy these short 10 weeks of summer we get here in NJ. I requested the bathing suit I liked the most; not worrying about coverage, slimming effects or what ever other body contouring tricks bathing suits come with these days and I rocked it with confidence. I felt good and my husband thought I looked good, que mas de ahi? (what more can I ask for) I also requested one for Naliya, she picked this one.

About this suit; it is the Raisins Bali Bliss Shayla bathing suit in pink. It has a crochet floral ruffle bandeau top. The five strap detailing brings some sexy to the back! However if you have b̶a̶c̶k̶ ̶f̶a̶t̶ a wider back like me then don't even try to get those straps to stay in place, it's not going to happen. It completely padded and has a removable braided halter strap which I put a knot in to give these D cups a little extra hold, it come with matching side tie bottom.

P.S these photos are totally unedited c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶d̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶k̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶P̶h̶o̶t̶o̶s̶h̶o̶p̶ except for some lighting adjustments.
