LANCÔME’S PARIS RENDEZVOUS
Today is a day I have been awaiting for months now. Remember when I wrote about what it’s like to put a million and one creative things you create into the universe and have most forgotten faster than a shooting star? When I told you I want to talk about what it’s like when someone finds one in a million of those things, latches onto it and writes to you, wanting to build a world around it together. This is one of those moments. I have been hard at work on a new project and amidst my enthusiasm have barely been able to keep the details a secret. This past spring, Lancôme, Condé Nast, and I began entertaining the idea of creating a space to highlight the splendor of Paris, the lifestyle it encapsulates, and its connection to the heritage of this household name in beauty. Now finally this winter, after many conversations, much inspiration, and a website redesign we are pleased to invite you all beginning today to our Paris Rendez-vous!
About Paris Rendez-vous with Lancôme
Paris Rendez-vous is a beautiful new corner of the Lancôme website, a blog if you will, that I will be authoring in the coming months. Twice a week there, I’ll share original articles and photographs never before seen on Making Magique, including my Lancôme beauty secrets, fashion stories, tips from life in Paris and so much more. These will all be a part of my story I am sharing, the story of an ambitious young American woman exploring Paris with a passion for living a charmed, stylish, and meaningful life. A story I began here on Making Magique and one that I think Lancôme women of all ages can relate to in different ways.
For me Lancôme is a beauty legacy. Since my mother first began teaching me the basics of makeup and skincare they have been part of my daily routine. When I moved to Paris five years ago and began exploring creatively and professionally, it was my dream to work with such a brand. Today that dream has come true again.
Your support over the last months in my endeavor to grow my creativity into a full time career has really touched me. In ways big and small; emails, comments, tweets, and more from you my readers, you have given me a source of support to keep dreaming and working towards that. Even more so, you’ve reminded me why I aspire to do it, to share and connect with people through words, photographs, films, and more in ways both fun and profound. Paris Rendez-vous is another place for us to do just that.
