CAROUSEL OF EMOTIONS

Carousel of emotions, that’s what I’ve been lately. I was down and out and Mercury seemed to finally come out of retrograde and I was settling into (or maybe just settling for) a decent mood when all of a sudden I found myself crying and throwing a temper tantrum over screwing up a homemade pizza I tried to make my boyfriend. What’s that book? ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff’ – I think I should read it. Planets, hormones, or that facts of life, who can know? The thing is now I’m feeling pretty chipper the past week. Of course reading the latest Lula Mag and a rendez-vous with or email from the very sweet Faye, aka Farfelue (whom I might add lent her talents to these very photos) always helps with that. Amazingly, you know what else does? NEW SHOES, like these little loafers sent over by Cocorose London I’m wearing. The truth of the matter is though I think things are looking up because perpetual adjustment to times zones has come to an end. Since November in Peru and all my travels in between, I just hadn’t had the time to acclimate and find my center. Finally, I think I got it. It involves hopefully (fingers crossed) a new gig in addition to the other ones, wrapping up the editing of my latest video which was proving to be a creative challenge (will share that soon!), and scheming for an epic summer vacation with Audrey and company. Moral of the story? It takes shoes and then a lot more to pull you out of a bad mood. Thanks for sticking it out with me.
