DAISY FRESH GIRL
I’m wearing a Swedish vintage dress from the Magique Shop, a P.S. Besitos book clutch, and Converse sneakers.
Why do I love vintage? Because in each piece of clothing there is a story – the story that you may or may not know of the person who loved and wore it before you. Where did it come from? Who made it? What beautiful little moments in life did they live it out it? Perhaps it was a wedding, perhaps they took it on a trip. My story with this dress involves a trip. I went to Stockholm one October a few years ago with two friends, you might recall? I found this little dress in a vintage shop one cold afternoon as we went treasure hunting for souvenirs. I loved its beautiful layers, its whites aged to a soft ivory over the years, its sweet little pink bows, its lady like shape and beautiful construction. I’ve loved it so much over the years, taking it home to Paris, and then onto California. Perhaps I’m just getting a bit older, not the daisy fresh girl I used to be, but it’s time for this little dress to move on to its next story, so I’ve listed it in the Magique Shop. To whoever may own it next, I hope you make lots of wonderful memories in it.
