4th of July Nails

I love holidays and I love nail art so holiday themed nail art should be right up my alley, right?

Not exactly.

Turns out that I want something festive while not being too obvious or predictable. While I love to look at flag or firework nail art on others, it's just not right for me. I tend to struggle with finding a design that speaks to the occasion while not being overly expected. After a little experimentation I ended up with this mixed prints design for my 2014 Independence Day manicure!

Products used: OPI Nail Envy (not pictured) Silver holographic - Julep's Rebel White - OPI's Alpine Snow Red - Sally Hansen's Red My Lips Blue - Square Hue's Patriot Topcoat - Seche Vite Dry Fast (not pictured)
Tools used: Dotting tool Striping brush Metal studs

And as a bonus since I can still reach my toes (for now!) I did a little corresponding nail art on my toes!
