Rotten Eggs for Easter! The Trash Pack Review & Giveaway

Since 2011, The Trash Pack has been a favorite among boys across the country, and this spring, children will be egg-cited about their newest collection! Series 6 features over 100 new Trashies, including ‘Eggstinct’ characters that are housed in bright purple eggs, which ties in perfectly for the upcoming spring holiday and is a great addition to any Easter Basket come April 20.

We had the pleasure of receiving The Trash Pack Junk Truck and a pack of the Series 6 Rotten Eggs for review. While Low was originally introduced to The Trash Pack last Halloween, he had only seen a few members of the gross gang. Adding the truck brought an entirely new level of imaginative playtime fun to the table {well floor}.

The Trash Pack Junk Truck is exactly what you would expect a garbage truck to be with a few surprising extras. The unit itself comes with the main truck, the removable dumpster, two garbage cans and two characters.

The cab opens to display a functional dual seat area for your Trash Pack friends. There is even a steering wheel for a bit of real life effect. Of course the tires are completely mobile for rolling the truck back and forth or as my Low like the hard push and roll.

The cab also features one of my favorite things about the Junk Truck, the Wash Me! on the window. However as you can see the logo sticker was a little misplace. Boo! Honestly I probably wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for the cute window saying catching my eye.

The back of the truck, aka dumpster area fully opens to a play yard of sort for The Trash Pack characters. There are a handful of areas for your child to place his pieces and they are easily moved from place to place. So simple you can see my four year old in action.

My boys collect few toys. Really they are super picky and what is played with is few and far between. The Trash Pack has that zombie/monster vibe going on and it draws my son’s interest. The Trash Pack has found it’s way to it’s own section of his toy shelf and get brought out a few times a week which is saying a lot.

The addition of the Rotten Eggs is great for Easter gift giving and even uniquely collectible there after. I am a huge fan of holiday items that are not candy. So of course this fits the bill wonderfully.

The only downside to being a Trash Pack fan family is their small size. Comparable to a nickle really. So keeping up with those small pieces in a home where rowdy boys play can sometimes be a challenge. What I found that works best is keeping small clear rubbermaid containers to keep items like this separated from other toys and it also provides them a spot of their own. Organization is key in our large family home.

One reader will receive a special Easter Basket Prize Pack, which will include product from The Trash Pack Series 5 and 6, valued at over $50.

Giveaway ends April 24th at 11:59pm, open to US residents, ages 18 . Only one entrant per household. Winner is subject to eligibility verification. Enter using the giveaway form below.
