Easy Banana Pudding in a Jar Recipe

Banana Pudding in a Jar

Ingredients:

  • 2 sliced Bananas
  • 1 package Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup crushed Vanilla Wafers
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 4 tbsp Sugar

Also Needed:

  • 4 4oz Mason jelly jars


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Make pudding according to package directions and set to side.
  3. Put a 1/4″ layer of crushed wafers in bottom of the Mason Jar.
  4. Add a 1/4-1/2″ layer of pudding.
  5. Then a layer of bananas.
  6. Repeat the layers.
  7. Whip the egg whites with electric mixer on medium until frothy.
  8. Add the cream of tartar and increase the speed. Slowly add the sugar and whip until they form a soft peak.
  9. Spoon the meringue over the top of each jar sealing it to the sides.
  10. Bake the puddings for 5 minutes or until the meringue is puffy and brown.
  11. Cool on a rack for 1 hour and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
