Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Calming Cleansing Micellar Solution, $17 USD / $20 CAD: The one that started my obsession. I saw this bottle sitting on my friend’s vanity and gave it a shot… I’ve been hopelessly addicted since! I keep a bottle of this one next to my swatching station so I can test out countless lipsticks and eyeliners without irritating my skin. vichy.ca

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water, $36 USD / $36 CAD: This formula is one of the most powerful I’ve tried- it truly removes all traces of makeup in a flash while Rodial’s signature Dragon’s Blood soothes sensitive and stressed skin. NARS Makeup Removing Water, $28 USD / $32 CAD: Besides having the coolest, cleanest packaging, the NARS Makeup Removing Water is ultra gentle yet super effective. The fragrance-free formula is gentle and leaves no residue (plus it’s great for touch-ups because the spout is the perfect size to fit a Q-tip).

Chanel Eau Douceur Cleansing Water, $45 USD / $46 CAD: For those that crave pure luxury from start to finish in their skincare routine, Chanel has a cleansing water for you. With a fresh scent that soothes the senses while the gentle formula calms the skin, this rinse-free micellar solution is the perfect way to end your day.

L’Oreal Sublime Soft Gentle Micellar Solution, $13 CAD: This one has quickly become one of my favourites. Not only does it rival the pricey cleansing waters that have been loved for years, but it comes in at a much more affordable price point (I saw it on sale for $8 one time)! Fragrance free, gentle yet effective, this formula has taken permanent residency on my bathroom vanity.

Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Purifying Micellar Water, $16 CAD: Formulated specifically for combination to oily skin types, this new purifying cleansing water helps to reduce oil, shine and sebum. The refreshing scent gives a deep-down clean sensation while the power botanical Baikal powder balances skin and reduces excess oil (but it’s still gentle enough to use on eyes)!
