Sephora Presents To Paris with Lancôme Contest

Lancôme has always been a brand that embraces creativity, art and inspiration from special collaborators. They are also known to participate in unique promotions and events, finding new ways to ‘give back’ to their customers (they randomly gave roses to women on International Women’s Day and invited a group of them to dinner at one of Toronto’s top restaurants). Their latest contest in partnership with Sephora is totally unique and those with an appreciation for makeup, art and beauty will love it too. Lancôme recently invited Sephora Cast Members to enter a contest by submitting a piece of artwork, created entirely with Lancôme products, for a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to Paris as well as have their artwork adorn the packaging of Lancôme’s upcoming Holiday 2014 gift sets. For any aspiring artist or beauty lover, these prizes would be a dream come true!

Lancôme gave me the honour of being a guest judge in the contest to help narrow down the entries down to the Top 10. Every piece was absolutely stunning and it was by no means easy to chose my favourites. The theme given to the Cast Members was “Parisian Lights” and they translated that so beautifully onto paper (using makeup, remember). I seriously wanted to take some of these artworks home and frame them because they were absolutely incredible!
