CFW 2014: Swimwear “Spunk” and Bond-Girl Babes from Designer Denise Katz

Jamaican Designer Denise Katz– who has been on a fashion hiatus for a few years– has returned with a collection of swimwear pieces entitled “Spunk” that combine both the cosplay of carnival with the bombshell bikini style of a Bond-girl. Particularly familiar was Katz’s orange and white two-piece design which evoked that iconic look from Halle Berry in Die Another Day. While there were individual styles, such as the aforementioned bikini- that stood out, overall the continuity of the collection was indistinguishable as we questioned what feather boas and sailors have much to do with each other.
