Itching for Summer

The weather in Los Angeles lately has been just warm enough to have me dreaming of summer. I’m not pulling out all of my sundresses just yet, but you can bet I’ve been trolling my favorite online shops and daydreaming about dressing for warmer days.

One of the things I love most, most, most about summer is eating outside. Mr. Lovely and I have a standing lunch date every Friday, and pretty soon we’ll be able to eat al fresco in our shorts and sandals. I’m so anxious for it I found myself putting together some summery looks that will be just perfect for that first hot day.

Sunnies. Earrings. Top. Pink bracelet. White bracelet. Clutch. Shorts. Sandals. Nail polish.

Summer always brings out my inner hippie, so I’m all about the cutoff shorts. These are maybe a little more distressed than I’d usually wear but wouldn’t they be so comfy after a day at the beach? I also love to stack on the friendship bracelets during the summer — it’s a serious arm party. I love the thin knotted cord combined with touches of gold.
