Snow + Quiet

No one likes to be caught in a snowstorm, but there's something about gently falling snow that is so lovely. This week has been quiet, which suits me just fine prior to the busy of the holidays. I don't even like to call it 'busy' because it's all good things, but it is a lot none the less.

This week I've sat beside our Christmas tree as I work. This week my desk has a tartan table cloth. This week we've dug out all the blankets. This week I've curled up on the couch with said blankets and been cozy, which is one of my favourite ways to be. This week the candy cane ice cream is back in stores. This week has been full of food, family, and quiet. Just the way I like it :)
