Lately

Sorry for the radio silence on the blog these last 2 weeks! I usually volunteer at my church's camp every summer, but this year I wanted to step back and let others take on the roles I've had for years since it was starting to feel a bit like I owned them haha But a few weeks ago they opened up another girls' cabin and I felt I should step up. So...

I'm off to camp next week!! Planning for lessons & crafts & activities has taken up my usual blogging time, but hopefully things will be back to normal when I'm back :)

It's completely off the grid, which in a way is so nice as it's just not possible to check my email or social sites so it really feels like a break. But as a freelancer, I'm always a bit worried about all the emails that come while I'm away that I won't be able to do anything about. I do set up automated responses, but I just hope no one minds waiting a bit.
I'll be back in the office July 7th for anyone who emails while I'm away :)

What have you been up to lately?? My grandma brought those peonies round a couple weeks ago - my first ever cut peonies, so of course I had to document. I hid them away every night so the cat wouldn't chew them, which is why I love/need fake flowers. Any recommendations for fake peonies?
