What I Wore | Repeat

WhatIWore: When it comes to pregnancy fashion, I think it’s really important to stay true to your own sense of style and to get the most out of your wardrobe favorites for as long as possible. I’m doing that today by wearing an almost identical outfit to something I sported last spring, with the addition of a belly band (which I’m not sure I like very much yet)…

When: March 18, 2014

What:
Shades: Karen Walker ‘Northern Lights’
Lips: NARS ‘Scarlet Empress’
Scarf: NYC street vendor (similar)
Coat: Target (old)
Tee: GAP (similar for $8)
Jeans: 7 for All Mankind (similar)
Heels: BCBG (similar)

Why: In these relatively early days of pregnancy, my belly size fluctuates a lot. Your digestion plays a big part into how ‘big’ you look and a lot of days I just have a tiny lil bump. I’m not complaining (!!!!) but my regular clothes need a little help. These boyfriend jeans are one of my larger pairs and they’re fine on their own, but I like having something to fill the gap between the top of my pants and the bottom of my tee shirt in the meantime. Because I love stripes so much, I do have some longer/maternity versions similar to this top that I’ll start wearing when I need to.

This kind of look is a great way to transition to spring while still being warm enough for the weather!
