The Streets of Shanghai

Shanghai, China is an absolutely amazing city. I enjoyed it much more than Hong Kong because there seemed to be more of an energy there. Hong Kong felt like a very big city, where, even though Shanghai is, it had a more eclectic, artsy, maybe even a little more European, vibe about it. My life was changed when we did Shanghai karaoke. And may have had one of the most fun nights ever. I was definitely in my element belting out to Madonna and the likes. And maybe even doing a dance that I've penned, "The Katie Jigg", The food in Shanghai was amazing. The shopping phenomenal, and the night life was energetic. The only downfall to my time in Shanghai was the fact that I couldn't capture the city appropriately without a wide angle lens. I mistakenly traveled with only my 50mm, which was a travesty in of itself. But none the less, I still managed to capture some moments and scenery. The Bund is the city skyline on the peninsula, and is a great place to walk around, eat and enjoy the view. I heart Shanghai. I really do.
