Splish Splash

We live in a small town where there isn't much to do.

For the majority of the 7 years we've lived here, we go into Atlanta for any real fun.

In just the last year, we've started to discover some little gems right here in town. There's a spot that makes killer philly cheesesteaks and a new BBQ joint that I crave on a weekly basis. There's a cute coffee shop that I don't get to nearly enough and our library is awesome.

And just last week, we got the coolest splash pad around.

In fact, it's the only splash pad around. The closest one is on the north side of Atlanta. My friends and I have wished there was one here forever and now there is!

I won't lie, we've gone almost every day since they opened.

It's so close that we can easily go for an hour to kill time. The kids both love it. Added bonus, we have quite a few friends that live close enough to do last minute meet ups. I'm seriously happy about this place!
