how to have an awesome week

Mondays can be hard but Mondays after a holiday or a few days off are even worse.

So with the week stretching out before us, I want to ensure I look forward to it, rather than dragging my feet through it.

Not to mention I’m constantly bookmarking all these motivation and inspiration posts and I might as well try and organise them in some semblance of order.

Where to start? Well, make sure you have something to look forward to, in fact lots of things.

The key is to “spike” your week with things that are different. Changing up your routine can rejuvenate you and can make the boring things that you have to get done seem a lot less mundane.

Start journaling. A notebook, Instagram or perhaps the Happier app, write at least a sentence every day.

Life happens whether we are mindful of it or not, and being mindful of the quirky, the fun, and the meaningful makes these things stand out more in the mosaic of one’s time. We see what we’re looking for and, as I’m reminded every day, writing things down can help us see.
