DIY Rustic Frame

Have you ever seen prints from French Press Morning Blog?

I LOVE them.

They are beautiful scripture prints and they are free to download!

I wanted one for my entryway, but the one I printed off was just too small for the scale of everything on the dresser.

So, after printing off one of her prints and putting it in a yardsale frame, I hung the frame on a white rectangular piece of wood that I had cut and distressed. Then I placed it in a stand from the Dollar Store.

By adding the mass of color and height to the frame, I felt it helped balance those white weighty candles.

I still can’t say I’m in love with the dresser display, but for now, I’m calling it good.

I just wanted to share since it was such an easy way to make a frame bigger. You could even add a cool print on it.

So there’s another small project from the entryway. A couple more, and we’ll be able to move onto the stairway!
