The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves: October is Here!
My mom is out of the hospital and recuperating at home, and Elle seems to be on the mend as well, so I’m feeling a lot less stressed this week. I am frantically getting ready for my annual trip to OKC and the Morgan Grand Nationals, so that’s keeping me busy. I leave on Friday and can hardly wait to get the heck out of Dodge. I’m not taking a horse this year, so I’m hoping for a relaxing visit. Next year I want to take both Pixie and Elle, so I am already making arrangements for that. I would like to show Pixie in the Adult Equitation class, so I have to get an equitation suit together for next spring so we can practice.
The weather has taken a turn for the dreadful. Friday and Saturday were cold and rainy, resulting in a massive amount of leaves scattered all over the lawn. Bumble feels the need to try to eat every leaf he sees, and when the wind blows them about, both of the puppers give chase. Dragging me all over the yard. One bright spot about the fall – the local Meijer finally had Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer in stock!
The highlight of my week in terms of books was the announcement that Scribd and Harlequin have inked a deal making 15,000 HQN titles available on Scribd. I was going to cancel my subscription at the end of this month, but not anymore! My library is insanely large, and I can hardly wait to start digging into all of the HQN titles that I missed out on.
