I never saw myself as the type of person that would love wedding planning. It kind of terrifies me. But I want to make it as enjoyable as I can.
One thing I’ve never ever thought about until now? A reception venue. Is it bad that I really don’t care? I’ve been researching and researching and each one I find I’m like “great this works.” I just could not care less. I’d have it in my parent’s backyard if it was bigger. Money is going to have to make this decision for us. I just can’t wait to get this one over with so that we can focus on the fun things.
My priorities are in the order: Friends/Family, Photographer, DJ, bar. Everything else we will figure out as we go along.
Now the hard part is getting on the same page as the groom…
Anyone have any good advice or lessons learned to pass along in this overwhelming stage?
