Inspiration cards and bookmark!

Yay! I picked up the inspiration cards from the Fed ex office. It’s so cool to see all of these small packages of inspiration bundled together like this!

Because postage from Canada is so expensive I have to figure a way to keep shipping costs down. I found out that if i split the cards in half and put them between two pieces of cardboard that will save a few dollars. It’s just more time consuming on my end.

I have to fit the cards between a 1/2″ slot which i fashioned from cardboard. It just fits as long as i fold the organza bag and place it next to the cards. It’s tricky because i can’t exceed this width. In any case this will be a good challenge for me. I’ll be posting a sales page for the cards this weekend so you can buy a set (there’s a limited amount). In the meantime if you’d like me to add your name to the list please e-mail me.

Inspirational bookmarks

While waiting for my 100 sets of cards to be delivered I decided to create a bookmark to include with the packages. I came up with this whimsical design but couldn’t decide which of these two illustrations to go for.

I posted my dilemma on Facebook and was inundated with votes on which was the best. The great majority of folks chose the purple one so i sent off the image to my printer to have printed up. I just love social media for the immediate response you can receive! What a fabulous community of creatives you can connect with.

Hop, Skip, Jump

I’ll be posting a review of Marney Makridakis new book Hop, Skip, Jump on Monday. In the meantime if you have not already done so you might want to go here to find out what kind of manifestor you are! I’m a Skipper!

See you on Monday!

Love, Violette xo
