Travel | London Calling!
– Enter quick update on life –Hi all, I’m terribly sorry for the lack of updates. Work has gotten in the way of my blogging time lately. But anyway, I’m currently packing my bags to leave for London, where I’ll be staying for 5 days: HOORAY!
Even though I like being busy and I love my new job, I think a little breather before all hell breaks loose (fair preparations!) will do me good. There’s nothing like clearing your head by spending your hard-earned moneyz I say! That’s right, I’ll be going on a 5-day Christmas shopping spree so you better be prepared to see a major haul afterwards. I initially planned on posting a wishlist beforehand, but I think my excel sheet would probably have you think I might have a problem. Lalala...
It’s been over 10 years since I last visited the city around the holidays and I couldn’t be more excited to see all of the wonderful Christmas decorations and catch a whiff of the jolly holiday atmosphere. The plan is to go and visit the shops we don’t have here (yet); Topshop, &Other Stories (is coming to Belgium btw! ), Anthropologie, Opening Ceremony, J.Crew, Boots, Superdrug and of course all of the major department stores (Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, M&S, Liberty, John Lewis etc) to hunt for Xmas prezzies. Let me know if you’re interested in a London shopping guide and if you have any suggestions for me on where to shop or eat/drink, I’d love to hear them!
