Twisted Low Ponytail Tutorial

If you haven't been able to tell by now, I am extremely low maintenance when it comes to hair. My hair is air-dried 90% of the time, with the exception of the occasional curly or wavy moment. So if I'm ever going to do an updo, it's going to be something that's basic and easy - absolutely essential! This twisted low ponytail tutorial will literally take you all of 3 minutes but offer a touch of elegance that's perfect for a night out or the office - catch it after the break!

With a boar bristle brush, just do a quick tease around the crown - just do a few pieces to add some extra volume!

Using the same brush, lightly smooth down the teased sections.

Gently pull hair back into a low ponytail.

Secure your ponytail with an elastic band that matches your hair colour.

Loosen the pony and create an opening above the ponytail.

Flip the ponytail toward the nape of your neck and pull it through the opening you created.

Rough up the twisted area and then loosen some pieces around your face.

Lightly spritz with hairspray - using my favourite John Frieda hairspray here!

If you're headed out, add your accessories! I love this style with statement earrings like these ones from Jeweliq!

Et voilà! You're done! If you want to catch the whole video, watch it all below!

Hope you guys liked this super simple tutorial - give it a try this weekend! As always, please let me know if you ever have any specific beauty or hair requests!
