Speaking of relying on my go-to staples like stripes, red and classic black sunnies...here's yet another "weekend uniform" look! A femme sundress like this 424 Fifth number is a particularly amazing staple to have in your wardrobe since it transitions so easily from winter to spring to summer. Worn with a thick knit for chilly days, a light topper (like this statement-making satin topper by 424 Fifth) for spring and on its own with espadrilles and a straw fedora for summer, it really is virtually an all-season piece.
The cheery red and stripes are also a very-needed pick-me-up for what's definitely been a bit of a rocky start to the week. Nothing to worry about because it's getting sorted, but I've had a little health scare over the past couple days and it's definitely threw me a little bit. Even when you know not to stress until you learn more, it's always disconcerting to have it on your mind. Here's hoping the rest of the week runs far more smoothly :)
