I've had a serious case of wanderlust lately. Well, not that it ever really went away - but as evidenced in yesterday's Insta post, it's been front of mind again more than ever. I love Vancouver and it will always be home, but even though I've definitely settled down a bit since coming home from my Europe adventures, it's really become clear to me that I could really benefit at this point in my life from a little move away elsewhere - nothing permanent, but just something different for awhile. Click through to find out the not-so-secret place I'm hoping to take off to again this summer (seriously, I tell just about everyone I see)!

It should make perfect sense that I worked a green-on-green look today because as you might already know if you've been following along on Instagram, I'm head-over-heels in love with Ireland and would love to relocate to Dublin for a bit. The only other place in the world that I have that crazy and instant love for is Maui, but while I can make trips to Maui about every year for a couple of weeks, I figure that since Ireland would require a longer trip anyway I might as well just settle down for a summer and really explore the country and culture. It's honestly just such an incredible place - while I've already done a couple travel diaries from the Green Isle (here and here), I can't wait to share another one from Galway that captures truly one of my favourite weekends from the whole trip.

It would require a bit of magic to pull this move off so soon after a bit of an extended time away already, but it's definitely going to be my most prominent goal of 2015! It must have already been super front of mind as it is already because camo is not usually the first thing I reach for during the fall/winter months, but fortunately, I actually love how it freshens up my cold season looks. The green is so refreshing after what already feels like months and months of grey, brown or black, and I love the discrete edge the warfare print gives.

It actually has me inspired to try camo out for the holiday party circuit - whether it's a sequin piece (seriously, the Ted Baker skirt and jacket in the shop app below are truly amazing), an accessory or even these Joe Fresh skinnies (similar pair here) with a standout top, I love the idea of bringing something unexpected to what can feel like a stale, been-there-done-that roster of holiday go-to's.
