Would you folks want me to review Watson's Glutathione? It's their generic kind. They started marketing their own generic line of medicines and supplements to competition such as Generika among others. It's a win-win situation for us because did you know that medicines and supplements are actually cheapest to produce? It's just that pharmaceuticals want to earn a lot of money from us that is why they overprice their products. Good thing there's generic brands that work just the same. But do they?

At 33php for a capsule of 500mg glutathione, it's certainly not the cheapest available in the market but affordable and easy to buy. Watson's is everywhere! What makes their glutathione different is their Milk Thistle Content and surprise surprise, it doesn't have Vitamin C.

WHAT IS MILK THISTLE?
Milk thistle (silymarin) is a flowering herb related to the daisy and ragweed family. It is native to Mediterranean countries. Some people also call it Mary thistle and holy thistle.

Silymarin is the main active ingredient in milk thistle. Silymarin is both an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It’s unclear what benefits, if any, this may have in the body.
Final Thoughts
This is a fair supplement if you're taking glutathione for medicinal reasons. There isn't much of a whitening effect after a couple of months taking this but only left me with a slight glow. I also wouldn't recommend it for people who gets reaction from ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) I too get pimples from this ingredient so be aware. Milk thistle is also a good anti-oxidant, this is also the ingredient in another popular supplement, Liver Aid.
I would recommend this brand of glutathione for people who plan to take glutathione for health and liver reasons than whitening.
