Happy Birthday Aaron.

Today the man of my dreams turns 36. I love this man more than I thought I could ever love someone, and I know that he feels the same way about me. Aaron and I have been married for 13 years and I must admit that with each year I fall more in love with him every single day.

Today we celebrated him over lunch at Contigo, and as I was looking back through my timehop I think we have celebrated the last three of his birthday’s there. We really love that restaurant.

We’ve started a new tradition where we all go around the table and actually toast the person we are celebrating. All four kids said the exact same thing, because that’s what kids do. They all stood up, raised their glass towards Aaron, and said, “To daddy, the best dad in the world”. And it’s true. He’s an amazing daddy, and an amazing husband.

I’m thankful for lots of things in my life, but up at the very top of that list is this man. Besides Jesus himself, this man is God’s greatest gift to me.
