Thanksgiving Last Minute Inspiration

Thanksgiving is almost here! I’m always looking for some last minute decorating inspiration, and know you are, too. I’m sharing some of my favorite images from my Pinterest Boards.

Let’s start with this gorgeous punch bowl setting by Karin Lidbeck, sure to welcome your family and friends. What a delight to set up on your front porch, there is something magical about handing your guests a drink right at the front door!

A beautiful seasonal wreath makes the whole house look festive. This one, above, was custom designed and made in our own FrenchGardenHouse Studio. {sorry, it’s sold}

These simple candleholders were made by Colin Cowie, so easy to do at home. Simply layer some leaves {real or faux} in a glass hurricane. Just make sure they can’t catch fire, these have a glass votive around the candle for safety.

Now let’s look at some of the prettiest tables I’ve seen!

A lovely buffet setting. I generally set up the dessert like this, so everyone can serve themselves.

I love the tall glass vases filled with mini pumpkins on this table. So simple, but elegant.

A gorgeous fall arrangement, one large one, or several smaller versions would be stunning on your table. See the tangle of curly willow twigs in the bottom of this glass jar? A piece of florist foam was fitted to the top of the vase to keep the flowers moist during the dinner.

This might be my favorite table setting, with candles nestled in a wine box together with grapes, faux berry stems and sunflowers.

This tablescape is from Sophia’sdecor, and I love the natural elements arranged in a narrow wooden box. So simple to make one of these, and it could be filled with all sorts of different elements for the holidays and seasons.

Here is another long and narrow tables cape, on a rustic board that is slightly elevated. I love that here, there are grapes that your guests could eat during or after dinner, should they still want to, after the desserts.

One of my favorite napkin treatments this year, from BHG. Vintage velvet ribbon, and acorns. Isn’t it so unexpected to have the pearl in one? This would still be beautiful without it, but it certainly adds a touch of fun and glamour!

Let’s look at some of my favorite outdoor celebrations…

Sonja Bannick certainly knows how to make an outdoor Thanksgiving look gorgeous!

This is actually a wedding table I found on Style Me Pretty, but it would work beautifully for Thanksgiving, too!

Dreamy…this is from The Reluctant Entertainer, who wouldn’t enjoy a meal with friends, family, laughter and love here?

Another gorgeous outdoor table from the Wedding Chicks, love the votives with asparagus tied around them. Each one of these is beautiful, special, and memorable.

One of the centerpieces I designed for Cottages & Bungalows Magazine a few years ago.
