Drink Your Colors: Orange



After a long year of having health related issues, I made a commitment to myself to become more intentional about eating cleaner. Being a busy work at home mom of two, I don't have the time to make elaborate raw meals. Especially ones that my three year old will not turn her dainty little nose up at. Fresh smoothies have been my saving grace. Slowly, I am adding them more and more into our diet. Periodically, I will be sharing some of my favorite nutrient rich smoothies here on the blog.




Pear, Carrot & Clementine Delight

(Serves 3)

-2 clementines, peeled
-1 banana
-2 organic bartlett pears
-4-5 carrots, peeled
-1/2 cup of orange juice (this can be substituted with coconut water)
-1/2 or water

Blend for 45 seconds and enjoy.
