EAT LONDON: Advisory

Advisory Burgers, Hackney.
I'm going to try starting to blog a bit about places I like to eat in London aside from what I wear or how I feel about things in fashion. After all, my blog name does include my favourite food. Today, I'm going to start off with the Advisory in Hackney!
My friend Kaby of @Pure_Moda introduced me to this small burger place, and she was the one who encouraged me to go in. Credits to her for the introduction.
The advisory sells burgers (all day), bagel burgers (from 12 - 5pm), a breakfast menu (morning), and a dessert menu. I liked the location of this place because it's near my halls my uni, and it's really reasonable for the portions I got too. I ordered the shrimp po boy burger which was 6.5 quid, and then added some onion rings for 3 quid. The great thing is, they take cash and card which you'll find in London not all small places do. Card is only accepted when your bill is 10 pounds or over though.
The shrimp burger was lovely, the only thing was that it was difficult to hold the burger and eat it by hand since the top bun was so big you had to squish it in order to get a grip. There was a lot of mayonnaise too which created a mess on my plate, yet, it complimented the fried shrimp so well that I didn't care, haha. The onion rings were good that day too, however when I went back to eat again on a Monday, the onion rings were too doughy and not as nice as the first time. Just goes to show it's the luck of the draw really so order fries if you want to be safe I guess. Tables were wooden and suitable if you just need a rest and snack after lessons, or on a lazy weekend. I love the slogans on the walls and the art in the restaurant just creates such a cosy atmosphere you know? Somewhere you can just walk to with no makeup on and sit and just enjoy a nice chat without anyone caring.
xx Nicole
