A Creative Way to Give A Groupon

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Groupon Gift Shop. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am not one for hitting the stores at 6 am to find the best deals on gifts for my family and friends. I am much more the person to stay home, cozy and relaxed and order presents from my phone or computer. I find the same great deals without fighting crowds and getting stressed out!

I have been a huge Groupon fan for forever-isn't everyone? Groupon is an amazing one stop shop for everyone on your shopping list. I found thoughtful and creative gifts and experiences for quite a few of my family members and friends. Weather you are looking for your neice, Grandfater, or best buddy, you will find something amazing for them here! However, I really love to be creative in my gift giving and wanted to do a little more than just give the Groupon in an envelope.

I was trolling the Groupon website just looking for ideas for a few choice people. Mainly,my sister-in-law, son, and Mom. One of the first deals I found was a perfect fit for my sister-in-law! We don't usually exchange presents, but she is so generous and wonderful all through the year and I was thinking I wanted to surprise her with a little something just to say thanks. I found this half-off deal 3 blocks from her house and knew it would be the perfect thing!

Their family recently moved to a wonderful house in a fabulous neighborhood, however it took her work commute from 20 minutes to 40 minutes each day. I know this is cutting into their quality family time in the evenings. When I saw this Groupon for 8 freezeable dinners from Supper Solutions, I just knew it would be perfect. I did something similar before my daughter was born and it was great to have a bunch of healthy and delicious meals in my freezer for busy nights. It was also a really fun date with my husband. My husband and I decided we can volunteer to watch their children, give them a date night, and these 8 meals they can use when dinner is a challenge.

Like I said, I wanted to do mroe than hand her an envelope, so I got to thinking, "what would pair with this Groupon? I found this beautiful gold metal serving bowl, napkins, and wooden serving utensils to pair with this Groupon. I know we can always use new wooden utensils and the gold bowl is just so much fun! I am hoping thye love this gift and gain some extra family time on thier busy weeknights! They can even serve their meals in style now! Do you buy Groupon gift certificates as gifts? I would love to hear any creative ways you have found to preent them to your family and firends! I have a couple of more ideas I am working on and will be sharing later in the week.

I would love for you to follow along! Subscribe via bloglovin, e-mail or rss feed in a reader. I also post on Twitter, Hometalk, and Facebook almost every day. And did I mention my Pinterest addiction....
