Altuzarra for Target – How I Wear It

You all know I’m a fan of designer collaborations- you get the best of both worlds: amazing design at a fraction of the price. What’s not to love? The latest collabo on my lust list is the newly released Altuzarra for Target collection. It’s super luxe and has an “it factor” I haven’t really seen in the past Target designer collabos. I attended the Altuzarra x Target editor’s preview event last week on the first day of fashion week and got a chance to shop the pieces before they came out! Here’s what I scored style/size tips!

I love a good blazer skirt moment. The jacquard peplum on this duo make it a stand out hit. Sizing- I am usually a medium/large in blazers (blame the boobs) and the medium was a great fit. The large would have been too big. The skirts ran a bit small. I am usually a 6 and the 8 worked. This dress! One of my faves from the collection. It’s sexy with a bit of disco flair via the low cut neckline. I love the flattering fit and cut. I’m wearing a 4 and I usually wear a 6 in dresses. Go 1 size smaller! On day 4 of New York Fashion Week last week I rocked the matchy-matchy python duo from the Altuzarra for Target collection. I absolutely loved it!! The print is sexy and playful, with a dose of sophistication. I’m here for it : ) I got a large in the blouse and an 8 in the skirt, since they ran a bit small. Hot Like Fire : ) One of my fave looks from NYFW! Loving the monochrome ‘fit. I’ve never worn all red so this is def a start! I bought the jumpsuit the night before at Zara in Soho and it made for a flawless pairing w/ the blazer. The blazer is a size large, they were out of mediums. What I may do is have it tailored a bit on the sides. I also purchased the matching pants. Since I am tall with a booty, I got a larger size and will have it tailored to fit!
