Review: Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion

I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but when it comes to body products such as lotions and shower gels, it's always the scent that wins me over and I'm always steered towards products nose first. But on a recent trip to Boots this new addition to the Garnier line really caught my eye and I thought I'd give it a go. I don't often review body lotions and the like, but I really wanted to share this product with you all, so a review it was!
As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics
Like I said before, it's usually the scent that draws me into buying body lotions, but this one intrigued me as it says it's oil infused. The oils it includes are Argan, Macadamia, Almond & Rose - all of which create a buzz in the beauty world for being nourishing and hydrating. Reading the ingredients, it also includes Shea Butter. The lotion claims to be for those with dry skin, non-greasy and non-sticky. The bottle has a pump on it, which I very much appreciate and comes with 250ml of product. It is currently on introductory offer in Boots of £3.33, with the normal price being £4.99, not bad!

What did I think? You may have realised by now that the reason I'm writing a review on this product is because I really like it. I use about 2 pumps on each leg - I have to say, I'm loving having a lotion with a pump! It applies smoothly, it doesn't sink in super quickly, but I apply it after my bedtime shower so it soaks in over night - not that it takes that long I'm sure! It makes my skin super super soft though, better than any lotion I've tried in a long while! It's also not as thick and rich as a body butter, so more suited to the hot summer days - if we ever get any! The scent isn't amazing, instead smelling pretty standard without being too 'lotion' scented. Sorry, I'm awful at describing scents!

The Good - Very hydrating, 250ml product, has a pump, contains 4 different oils, good price point.
The Not so Good - No amazing scent - although it's not got a bad scent!
Would I Repurchase? Absolutely - but I need to use some lotions up before buying anymore!
Price & Availability - £4.99, Boots.
For those interested, there's also a scrub that goes along side this lotion. It contains the same oils, so in theory should also be very good. I didn't buy it though as it lists Polyethylene in the ingredients which I avoid due to its harmful effect on the oceans. For my long time readers (hello!) who remeber that I used to work in an Aquarium looking after fish this probably makes more sense and doesn't seem as random! Give the Polyethylene a Google though!
