What's New on the Highstreet #7 S&G, L'Oreal, Collection + More!

These posts always go down a storm - who doesn't want to read about exciting new products? I know I do! I always gravitate towards those posts when it comes to blog reading! Todays post features quite a lot of nail polishes, but also some make-up and body products. I think I'm most excited about the L'Oreal Bronzer - it's an amazing shade for pale skin and also matte so works great as a contour shade.

Collection Work the Colour Eyebrow Kit
(£3.99, Boots & Superdrug)
Collection seem to be releasing a lot of products in their 'Work the Colour' line lately. The latest being this eyebrow kit! In hindsight I'm not too sure why I bought this as only one of the three colours is going to work for my brows - the same for anyone really! The kit is so cute though and even comes with a mini brow gel! I'm thinking they'll probably work as eyeshadows though!

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick - Peach Club
(£8.99, Boots & Superdrug)
I went back and forth over whether to buy one of these. At first I was desperate to try one, then I saw the colours and decided not too, then I just bought one. I went for this one as it's the most subtle shade, but actually it's still quite bold! I have to say though, of all the velvet/matte lip products I've tried, this is the one I like best so far! It feels a lot less dry and actually feels creamy! I just wish they'd release some more subtle shades - yes I really did say that!

L'Oreal Glam Bronze - Blond Sun
(£7.99, Boots & Superdrug)
I've been willing there to be a great bronzer on the highstreet for pale skin for a long time now. It's not to say that there aren't ones I like, there just wasn't a lot of choice. I was so desperate to try this I made 3 consecutive visits to Superdrug until I actually managed to hunt one down. I'm glad I put in the effort though as so far I'm loving this! You can check it out in action in
my latest tutorial - link.

SEVENTEEN Stay Time Pressed Powder - Fair
(£4.49, Boots)
I love the SEVENTEEN Stay Time Foundation, it has amazing coverage - although is rather thick in consistency. So I thought I'd try the new powder that was released recently. The powder feels soft and finely milled to the touch, but it hasn't made it to my face yet, so I can't tell you much more than that I'm afraid!

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamel - Ginger Melon
(£6.49, Boots)
There was a lot of hype around these polishes. But if I had to give my 2 cents, I'd say that Revlon were trying to make something gimmicky look fancy. That's not to say that I don't like this though, it's a gorgeous coral colour for Spring - a colour I'm pretty much obsessing over at the moment! As for scent, I'd say this is kind of like a mix between nail polish and sweets, but I don't have the best sense of smell!

Revlon Nail Enamel - I'm Electro
(£6.49, Boots)
When I heard Revlon were launching some Spiderman themed products I got rather excited. That's an understatement. Although in the US there were Nail Enamels and Lipglosses released, we only got the nail products here. Which is a shame as there was a blue lipgloss and I wanted it rather badly! The nail polishes are pretty though, all containing some kind of duochrome!

BarryM Nail Paint - Birthday Superdrug
(£2.99, Superdrug) Superdrug are currently celebrating their 50th Birthday - Happy Birthday! To celebrate the occasion lots of brands have released products in special packaging - some even releasing special products for the occasion. Nothing really caught my eye, until I saw this gorgeous nail paint from BarryM! It's a fuchsia shade with different sizes of pink, lilac and white shimmers in it - very pretty! This is limited edition.

Collection Work the Colour Nail Polish - Sonic Blue
(£1.99, Superdrug) I'm not entirely sure how new these are, but they had a new sticker on the display, so I'm going to include it! I didn't actually pay for this though as there's currently a deal on in Superdrug where you can get one free if you spend £3.99. I chose Sonic Blue purely for the name, I can't deny it! I used to love Sonic the Hedgehog when I was a kid, I used to play it on my Sega Megadrive all the time - who remembers those!

Soap & Glory Orangeasm Body Wash & Body Butter
(£6.50 - Shower Gel, £10 - Body Butter, Boots) I can't even remember the last time S&G launched a new scent, but I'm so happy that there is a new one! I was just going to get one of them, but there was a 3for2 on so I decided on these two and got you guys a little something for a future giveaway! The scent isn't straight citrus, having an earthy undertone to it - which I love! It's a lot more complex than the standard citrus scent!

It seems like everytime I go to the shops these days there's new products out! It can get a little bit overwhelming at times! I'm curious to know though - what one product have you always wanted to be released in the highstreet, but never has? For me it's a matte cool toned (taupey) bronzer for pale skin.
