Review + Swatches: Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Box o' Blushes

I can't believe that just a few days ago I was talking about Halloween and today I've already moved onto Christmas! I'm actually a little disgusted at myself for bringing the 'C' word up in October, but there are some really good Christmas sets around at the moment and if I don't jump on it then we're going to run out of time to share all the good ones! Plus it's not like I'm talking tinsel, santas and Elf, it's just blusher!
// var _gaq = _gaq || (); _gaq.push(('_setAccount', 'UA-37824282-1')); _gaq.push(('_trackPageview')); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')(0); s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })(); //
As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics
The Christmas packaging from benefit this year is stunning, it's not the most practical packaging, but what it lacks in functionality, it make up for in beauty. It's all metal tins, a little bit vintage and a little bit quirky! The Box o' Blushes contains 5 blushes, a bronzer and a highlight - all shades from the regular line. The part that drew me in though is the price. This comes in at £29.50, which considering one blush costs £23.50, this is an amazing deal. The blushes in this palette aren't full size, but have a very reasonable 4-5g of product - depending on shade (compared to the 5-12g of a fullsize blush). Worth noting that you get a fullsize Rockateur (both 5g product!).

The Formula
Having never tried a Benefit blush before I was initially a little disappointed in the pigmentation. They're sheerer than a lot of my other blushes. But that means you don't have to be careful, use them lightly or worry too much when applying them in poor light. They're perfect for the natural look - I've been using these a lot for work. They blend beautifully, literally a dream! They are subtly fragranced, slightly floral, but nothing strong or off putting. The cream highlighter - Watts Up! has a lovely creamy texture, slightly thicker and applies seamlessly. All last on the face really well through the day.

Dandelion - A glowing pale pink with yellow undertones to it. It's one of the barely there shades.

Bella Bamba - A bright coral toned pink with golden shimmer to it, make that a strong golden shimmer!

Sugar Bomb - A sheer coral shimmery shade, it can be a little bronzey depending what part of the pan you pick!

Hoola - The bronzer! This is a matte bronzer, with quite warm undertones, I have to use this with a light hand or I look a bit orange! But I do have pale skin.

Coralista - My favourite of the bunch, I've already worn the name off! This is a gorgeous orangey coral with a glowing finish.

Rockateur - A rosey shade with subtle pink glow to it

Watt's Up! - This is a cream highlighter with a golden colour too it, perhaps a tad too golden/dark for me.

The Good - Sturdy & cute packaging, value, great for everyday wear, good colour variety, blend beautifully, would make a perfect gift for beauty lovers.
The Not so Good - Not the most pigmented.
Price & Availability - £29.50, Boots & Feel Unique.
