Not Your Boring Smokey Eye Via NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow

So I went to the On The Run tour and I finally tried out the new NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow. Remind me to tell you how unimpressed with Beyonce I was later.

I wanted to get a little fancier than I usually do so I ditched my glasses and went for a blue smokey eye. My real life friends know that I am in love with smokey eyes. It’s the first makeup application I ever learned how to do and I’ve mostly perfected it.

NARS has me completely hooked on all of their products and this Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow is no different. I used the blue which is affectionately named Giove. I don’t know what the means other than amazing maybe?

The pigment of this eyeshadow is breathtaking but actually comes alive when you add a little water to your brush.

I added a black shadow (the name is unimportant, you can use any kind you wish) on the corner of my eyes and blended it all in as seamlessly as I could.

So I just learned how to highlight my brows. I know I am tardy for the party. I was so afraid to because I didn’t want to look surprised or just freaking crazy. I actually used Ashunta Sheriff’s Perfect Face foundation stick. The lighter color is perfect for not only contouring but highlighting your brows. I think I did a good job, yes?

This pink is the second color I was sent. Check back for a post on this fabulous hue.
