These watercolor snowflakes are so easy to make, and our preschoolers love the process!

We take coffee filters and cut them into snowflakes.

We fill cups with liquid watercolors and add pipettes.

We chose purples and blues for this activity. It's always fun to watch the colors merge and blend!

It is not uncommon for the preschoolers to ask to do several of these watercolor snowflakes! They love how different each one looks.

They can be drippy, so make sure to do this activity on some sort of tray to contain the puddles.

They can be adorned on the wall or on the window. Or, as we did last year, placed on our hallway paper tree. No matter where they are displayed, they are beautiful!
