Blue Velvet | Caronia

My newest and now all-time favorite ‎#Caronia nail polish color: BLUE VELVET! It’s a deep midnight blue and it’s gloss reminds me of black licorice. Little and subtle blue specks sparkle when the light hits it!

This color is part of Caronia’s The Sound of Color Campaign which celebrates the Filipina’s individuality and uniqueness in terms of the different music genres they listen to. All 72 colors of Caronia nail polishes represent various music styles — from the energetic to the serene, the classic to the edgy, the relaxing to the funky. I personally would’ve called this color Classic Rock or Midnight Blues!

One other aspect of this campaign is the urban beautification advocacy called “Everything I Touch Turns to Color" where local talents will bring color to the bare and unappealing perimeter walls around Metro Manila. Female graphic artists will be painting street murals to the beat of live music being played. That should be interesting!

Caronia’s been coming up, little by little, with edgier colors like this. I hope they bring out more soon!

Now on to painting my right hand nails… Yup, righty problems.
