Leyende | The Story of Skin

Unlike most people, I don’t really enjoy taking baths. I mean I take showers at least twice a day but I wouldn’t say I enjoy it. While others find it relaxing, I think it’s a bit tiring specially since my hair is long. To add to that, I get sneezing fits and red blotches all over me after every shower because of strong, scented, products.

When my friend, Ali, gave me a whole set of her Leyende products though, I got excited because I’ve never tried organic and vegan bath products before. I used them immediately after the whole day bazaar we did together and it did a perfect job of relaxing me.

I didn’t find myself sneezing after I used them and the scent reminded me of beach resort getaways to The Ananyana, in Bohol. I could imagine myself being back on their hammock, just beneath the coconut trees, being sprayed with sea water and surrounded by the scent of freshly cut leaves.

No Rumple Silk Skin Body Moisturizer (How cute is its name??) is my absolute favorite! The texture is thin so it’s easily absorbed by the skin and isn’t sticky at all. The best thing about it is it’s SCENT. It gives you that crisp, freshly-laundered scent, with the tiniest hint of powder, and it stays on the whole day! It’s addicting to put on! I swear I keep smelling myself and keep thinking how absolutely wonderful I smell!

This set is just for PhP360. Can you believe that? It also comes in smaller packages that have 3 or 4 of what I have in this set. They’d be really good presents for girls who appreciate organic and vegan products and for those who go to the gym since the travel-size packaging is easy to bring around. It would be a fantastic Christmas present to those who give great value to skincare!
