Weekend Wrap - Makes Two, Etsy Party and California dreaming...

This weekend was awesome. Down here in Australia we were lucky enough to have a long weekend this week. Sure, three days off what's not to love, but this was more than that. It involved a whole lot of crafty awesomeness (although I did miss Finders Keepers. Didn't think it was a healthy environment for me to be in when I'm trying to save for an overseas trip...) and planning a trip to the USA! Whoo!

ETSY CRAFT PARTY
I had such a great time at the Blog Society Etsy Craft Party on Friday night. Great to catch up with friends and make new ones. (although I'm still not great at that part...)

The party was held at Work-Shop. Such a great, creative venue.

We did embroidery over photos which was great fun! Here's my work in progress. Not exactly my best work but it was fun, and that's more important sometimes right??

USA!
We're FINALLY planning our trip! We have now booked our flights and most of our accommodation. YAY! If you have any suggestions of fun creative places we should visit that would be amazing. We're going to New York, Las Vegas, San Fran, and LA.
SO FREAKIN EXCITED!!! :D

MAKES TWO
We have LOADS of Makes Two work on at the moment so it was great to have an extra day to get stuck into that. The one I'm most excited about is table numbers for a friends wedding in the US. They are nautical themed. White wash wood with blue numbers. I can't wait to finish them and see how they turn out! Hopefully I'll have pics for you next week. :)
