ORLY BLEND
A purplish brown not very opaque after the first coat, but really easy to apply. After a second thick coat it becomes more intense, and super glossy (pictures taken with dry polish)!
When I first saw the press release I thought Blend was a quiet, ordinary shade, but when I tried it on I loved it, the shade is everything but ordinary, according to light it looks more or less purple. Really elegant.

Un marrone violaceo che alla prima passata sembra abbastanza leggero (ma si applica molto bene); alla seconda passata -abbondante- il colore si intensifica e anche da asciutto (foto fatte mezz'ora dopo averlo steso) resta lucidissimo.
Prima di vederlo dal vivo non l'avrei detto, ma Blend addosso ha un colore meraviglioso, che a seconda della luce sembra più o meno viola. Elegantissimo.

Tons of iridescent (pink/golden) flakes in a semi sheer orange base; I saw some swatches before trying it, so I skipped the "on its own" swatch and used it immediately as a layering polish.
I still have to try it on a very dark base (will do that soon), in the meantime here are my experiments on Blend and (weird combo, I know) a red shimmer (A England Perceval).

Base semi trasparente (color arancio jelly) con glass flecks cangianti rosa-dorati. Avendo già visto degli swatch ero preparata alla poca coprenza e l'ho usato direttamente come smalto da layering.
Mi manca ancora la prova su uno smalto scurissimo (la farò presto), intanto gustatevelo su Blend e (uno dei miei abbinamenti assurdi) su un rosso shimmer (A England Perceval).

A cool bronze with golden flakes, indoors it looks more like an olive green with multicolored sparkles. I didn't like it very much in the bottle, but I loved it on my nails (I wore it also at work); I also tried a sort of "ton sur ton" gradient with its darker version, Beauty never fails from A England.
Questo mi sembrava un po' il "brutto anatroccolo", a giudicare dalla bottiglia: un bronzo freddo con flakes dorati, che in interni sembra virare più sul verde oliva con scintillii multicolore.
Sulle mani mi invece è piaciuto molto: perfetto in due passate, l'ho tenuto perfino come manicure da ufficio...Provando anche un esperimento gradient con un suo parente molto prossimo (ma più scuro), il Beauty never fails di A England.

This one stole my heart from the beginning (and I mean when I saw the press release images): a teal base filled with green and golden flakes.
Really pigmented, two coats in my pictures (I love deeper colors); it dries matte (surprise!) or better satin (it made me think of a precious velvet).

Questo è lo smalto che mi ha stregato già dalle prime foto: base teal piena di microflakes verdi e dorati.
Pigmentatissimo, comunque due passate nelle mie foto (per una maggiore profondità); una volta asciutto rivela una finitura inaspettatamente satinata (mi ha ricordato un velluto prezioso).
Foto al naturale e con top coat (in versione lucida al sole splende da impazzire).

Also this one goes straight into my "very elegant" list: a middle way between pearl-grey and beige, very easy to apply (self levelling - two coats in my pics) and very glossy.
It reminded me of Chanel Frenzy, so I quickly checked the swatchicles and...No dupes here, Highlight is definitely more grey than Frenzy.

Anche questo va dritto nella categoria degli "elegantissimi", è una via di mezzo tra il grigio perla e il beige, si stende molto bene (autolivellante, per cui nonostante il colore chiaro non crea problemi) e lucidissimo.
Mi ha ricordato un'altra tonalità greige... Lo Chanel Frenzy, con cui ho fatto una comparazione al volo.
Niente dupe: messi fianco a fianco si nota come Highlight sia decisamente più grigio di Frenzy.

A very special polish: black base with few small red glitters and many burgundy micro flakes (that sparkle under electric lighing). Easy to apply and very pigmented.
I tried also to make it matte (with a top coat), but the result was quite dull, maybe I'll try again with a satin tc.

Smalto molto particolare: base nera con pochi microglitter rossi e parecchi flakes borgogna (si notano soprattutto con la luce artificiale), si stende benissimo ed è molto pigmentato.
Ho provato a mattificarlo, però è diventato nerissimo e spento, riproverò con il top coat effetto satinato.
