Why A Broader mind?

It is said that people with broader minds have more opportunities in life (Well, maybe they just see them), that they have more success and that they are more creative. I totally believe that. Dont' you? It 'hit me' this week while I was doing this post I remember how this Shirt used to be my 'dear baby' a couple of years ago, remember my posts with it? and at least once, if not twice a week I would choose my whole outfit of the day around it. I realize how I tend to do that when I saw me wearing my beloved Heels again! maybe you've seen them a couple of times but believe me its been more than that and again I work my outfit around them in a very inflexible way, meaning that I "must" wear them. If that wasn't sufficient, earlier this week I ordered these, just to make sure I have more of the same but in different colors :)
No. I am not saying I will give them back but I am saying, here, in writing and in public that I will definitely break with the habit of obsessing with .... anything, whether it is a pair of shoes, a shirt, a certain food or what ever it is!!
If it feels too comfortable maybe its time to move on to something else so that I keep my eyes (and mind) open and wondering around in the world looking for new ideas.
