Swatches: Pixel Bunny Cosmetics Mathmatical, Why’d You Eat My Fries?, Bacon Pancakes, Unacceptable!!!!, I Steal Jewels & Fresh t

Apparently I can’t read. Friends should be Fries. *Whistles* Pixel Bunny Cosmetics is a fairly new indie shop. Vanessa opened up in June of this year and started up with a little Adventure Time collection! I purchased samples a few months back and have those swatched for you. I have Mathmatical, Why’d You Eat My Fries?, Bacon Pancakes, Unacceptable!!!!, I Steal Jewels and Fresh to Death.

Oficial Descriptions
Mathmatical is a sky blue base with a strong golden-yellow shift (like Finn’s beautiful hair!) and golden sparkles. Can appear a light teal (more green) or a more blue teal.
Why’d You Eat My Fries? is an opaque, satin black with a deep red sheen and red sparkles.
Bacon Pancakes is a shimmery golden-pink champagne.
Unacceptable!!!! is an opaque, true yellow with a pearl finish. Slightly shimmery.
I Steal Jewels is a pale, icy, silver-blue with a slight white shimmer.
Fresh to Death is a shimmery, slightly red-toned violet with golden sparkles

You can purchase from Pixel Bunny Cosmetics here.
You will receive loose product in a standard 2×2″ baggie, packed 1/4 teaspoon by volume for $1.
Sample baggies have a label that shows company name and logo, product name, ingredients and lip safety information.

All photos taken under a daylight bulb and swatched over Madd Style Cosmetics Optimus Primer, Darling Girl Cosmetics Glitter Glue and bare skin.

Mathmatical is a bright, light teal green that at different angles appears to have a silvery blue shift and has gold sparks. It looks fairly plain in the baggie but pops when applied over Glitter Glue. It’s very satiny looking over just primer. You really need the sticky base to get the gold to show up well.

Ingredients: mica, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, yellow lake #5, tin oxide, ferric ferrocyanide, ultramarine blue. VEGAN

Why’d You Eat My Fries? is a blackened purple/red shade with silver and red sparks. It’s a satiny black and looks lovely as an eyeliner. I found I liked this shade best over primer. It looks sort of… dry and powdery over the glitter glue? But it looks like a true satin over primer.

Ingredients: mica, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide. VEGAN

Bacon Pancakes is a sheer champagne color. I like this as a wash of color on my eyeballs. It’s a simple lovely color that works well against my pale skin. Mmmmmm bacon.

Ingredients: mica, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide. VEGAN

Unacceptable!!!! is a canary yellow with a satin finish and yellow/gold sparks. Words are escaping me today and I’m not a huge yellow fan, so uh.

Ingredients: mica, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, yellow lake #5, tin oxide. VEGAN

I Steal Jewels is a silvery icy blue pretty color with white sparks.

Ingredients: mica, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide, ferric ferrocyanide. VEGAN

Fresh to Death is a light mauve with gold sparks. This color makes me think of Autumn and wine.

Ingredients: mica, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide, ferric ferrocyanide. VEGAN

Overall these are nice shadows. They’re fairly simple, no fancy tricks. I was happy to see another indie shop starting out well. I had no qualms with my order and it arrived fairly quick. She included some candy(yum!) and cute not paper that Fumiko stole. Would I purchase again? Most definitely. I’d like to get a full size of Bacon Pancakes and would happily order in the future when she adds more products. Right now she just offers sample baggies, mini 3 gram jars and full size 5 gram jars of her Adventure Time collection.

Current TAT is 14 business days. You can purchase here. Vanessa can be contacted here via her etsy contact page. Find Pixel Bunny Cosmetics on Facebook!
