How-to do a 70s inspired bohemian curl with Errol Douglas & MoroccanOil (step-by-step)

I mentioned in my lfw aw14 highlight post that I went backstage at the Kristian Aadnevik show. MoroccanOil UK and Ireland Ambassador Errol Douglas showed me step-by-step how to recreate the late 70s, early 80s bohemian sweep curl. I thought it deserved a post of its very own. There is a visual ‘how to’ directly below, I will post Errol Douglas’s quotes at the end of the post for further instruction.

How the Look Was Created

• “For guaranteed shine and manageability, I always prepare the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment applied through mid-lengths to ends and then comb it through.
• “Work a palm-size amount of NEW Moroccanoil Volumising Mousse through the roots at the front and crown of the hair and a similar sized-amount of Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse to the roots at back of head and brush through using the Moroccanoil Paddle Brush.”
• “Blow dry the hair with a hairdryer.”
• “Take medium-size sections starting at back of head, spray each section with NEW Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection and wrap hair around a heated styling wand for 10 seconds. Then spray the curl withMoroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong and leave to settle and cool. Make sure that the hairline sections are curled up and away from the face.
• “Once all the curls have cooled, comb through the hair with fingers sweeping the hair to one side, across from the parting to create height.
• “Fix in place with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong and finish the look with a light mist of Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for extra definition and incredible shine.”
