Outfit – Night out with Next!

The lovely girls from Next treated a few bloggers last night to dinner at STK followed by watching a performance of The Bodyguard. We were asked to pick two pieces from the website to wear on the evening. I went for this boxy rib top and jacquard skirt.

I met up with Ella first of all so we could take snaps of each others outfits. Big thanks to her for taking mine! We decided Somerset house would be the best place as it was nearby. It’s always so strange walking through there when it’s not LFW. No colourful ensembles and dead birds stuck on peoples heads.

I recently received this bag from Maxwell Scott (first appeared in the Love Supreme post) as you can see from the previous post it can be worn with so many different styles. This time a bit more preppy. I do love me a staple leather handbag that is made beautifully and suits many eclectic looks!

These little cuties from Spanish brand Chie Mihara arrived just before I left the house! I thought they went well with the outfit..I was orignally going to wear my black heeled sandals

Dinner at STK was absolutely divine! We all shared different plates for starters and the clear favourite was the above mini burgers. I don’t know what they have done to them…but they were damn delicious. I may even go as far as saying they were the best burgers I have tasted. I went for the chicken main and me and Ella asked without foie gras. I detest seeing that on a menu. For dessert practically all of us decided on the apple pie – with a flubber apple on top!

No photos of the performance obviously. I tried to do a 15 second instagram of one of the songs and got told off. We also got told off by someone in front of us for giggling – to be fair some of it was incredibly cheesy, we had every right to giggle! Even with the terrible American accents we had great fun singing and dancing along to the Whitney Houston songs and Alexander Burke is actually incredible…so powerful and not one bum note.
