Silk + Sass

Hey darlings! I come to you frantically trying to post this killer set from an airport, while balancing checking emails and charging up on coffee...and battery power. I've been talking about this damn shoot for AGES. AGES..AND AGES...like...last October. Life gets in the way, and so do snowstorms, and moving, and before you know it 6 months goes by and you're still staring at the suit patiently waiting it's debut from it's squished closet habitat. ANYWAYSSSSSSS, out of all of the insanely bad ass superheroes that grace our presence in film and books, Silk Spectre is probably one of my top 3 favorites. I tried to match the coloring choices as well as use iconic scenery from the film for the ultimate atmosphere. The novel itself is incredible, but in the movie, I have such a high respect for the design and visual choices...the contrasting saturated greens, vibrant city lights, and the dirty streets of the city...they all combine to create a dynamic and believable world. I'm kind of rambling so I'll cut the shit with the color lusting...BUT!....here's the outcome from initial inspiration to final editorial. Hope y'all luv it :)
